Honda CB

Honda CB pertama kali masuk ke Indonesia tahun 1971 dengan kode Honda CB 100 K1 oleh PT Federal Motor karena perusahaan tersebut memang baru didirikan 11 Juni 1971. Sebelum CB, tipe sepeda motor yang pertama kali di produksi AHM adalah tipe bisnis S 90 Z bermesin  4 tak dengan kapasitas 90cc.  Memproduksi disini sebenarnya hanya merakit, karena pada saat itu PT Federal Motor masih mengimpor komponennya dari Jepang dalam bentuk CKD (completely knock down).
Kebijakan pemerintah dalam hal lokalisasi komponen otomotif mendorong PT Federal Motor memproduksi berbagai komponen sepeda motor di dalam negeri melalui beberapa anak perusahaan, diantaranya;
PT Honda Federal (1974) memproduksi komponen-komponen dasar sepeda motor Honda seperti rangka, roda, knalpot dsb.
PT Showa Manufacturing Indonesia (1979) khusus memproduksi peredam kejut
PT Honda Astra Engine Manufacturing (1984) memproduksi mesin sepeda motor
PT Federal Izumi Manufacturing (1990) khusus memproduksi piston
Pada tahun 2000 PT Federal Motor dan anak-anak perusahaan di-merger menjadi satu dengan nama PT Astra Honda Motor, dengan komposisi saham 50% PT Astra International Tbk dan 50% Honda Motor Co. Japan.
Saat ini AHM memiliki 3 fasilitas pabrik perakitan ;
Pabrik pertama berlokasi Sunter, Jakarta Utara yang berfungsi sebagai kantor pusat.
Pabrik kedua berlokasi di Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading.
Pabrik ketiga sekaligus pabrik paling mutakhir berlokasi di kawasan MM 2100 Cikarang Barat, Bekasi.  Pabrik ini merupakan fasilitas pabrik perakitan terbaru yang mulai beroperasi sejak tahun 2005.
Pada tahun 2007, AHM menempati ranking pertama penjualan sepeda motor di Indonesia dan tingkat ASEAN dengan produksi ke-20 jutanya.  Pada tingkat dunia, AHM menempati ranking 3 setelah pabrik sepeda motor Honda di Cina dan India.
Ada banyak tipe CB yang dikeluarkan Honda tetapi tidak semua tipe tersedia di tiap negara.  Di Indonesia, jenis CB yang diintroduksi adalah CB 100cc, 125 cc, 175 cc, dan 200 cc.  Tiga tipe terakhir tersedia pula dalam silinder ganda, namun di Indonesia CB100 dan CB 125 mesin tunggal lebih populer karena harganya yang murah, perawatannya mudah, dan fleksibel untuk dimodifikasi.  Honda CB 100 K1 masuk Indonesia tahun 1971, sedangkan Honda CB 100 K2 masuk Indonesia tahun 1972.  Dalam kurun waktu satu dasa warsa (1971-1981) jumlah total penjualan Honda CB di tanah air mencapai 600 ribu unit.

Tidak ada perubahan pada mesin di tipe ini, cuma berbeda warna cat tangki dan tambahan besi krom di joknya.

CB 100 K-2
(1972 Super Sport CB 100/di Indonesia dikenal sebagai CB Gelatik)
Perbedaan pada versi ini adalah warna cat tangki dan emblem CB 100 yang diperbesar dan berada di tengah.  Sebenarnya pada mesin juga tidak ada perubahan, tapi ada 1 keunikan dari CB ini yang sudah menjadi incaran banyak penggemar CB yaitu model tangki bensinnya, yang mana tutupnya bukan berada di tengah bagian atas tangki tetapi di bagian atas sebelah kanan.

• Tersedia 2 variasi Warna : Putih kombinasi Light Scarlet Red, dan Putih kombinasi Aquarius Blue
• Pada sisi samping tangki bagian atas terdapat warna merah atau biru, sedangkan bawahnya Hitam
• Lambang striping segitiga pada dop kiri kanan berwarna sesuai dengan warna dasar merah atau biru Lambang sisi segitiga penutup juga  cocok merah atau biru.

BIODATA PENULIS

Nur Hamid, lahir di Kebumen, Jawa Tengah, pada 4 Agustus 1993. Ia adalah alumni SMK Negeri 2 Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Saat ini, ia tercatat sebagai mahasiswa baru Jurusan Tekhnologi Informasi,di STMIK Media Informasi Cendekia,Cikarang.

            Sedari duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar, ia menyadari betapa pentingnya organisasi disamping kegiatan formal belajar. Sejak SD, ia aktif di kegiatan organisasi sekolah . Sedangkan sewaktu SMP, ia banyak menghabiskan waktunya untuk kegiatan ekstrakulikuler olahraga dan pernah menjuarai beberapa lomba olahraga. Berlanjut ketika SMK, ia tidak bosan-bosannya mengikuti kegiatan organisasi yaitu Pramuka. Pada organisasi inilah ia terlatih mentalnya untuk bersikap dewasa dan disiplin waktu.

Honda Cub

Sejarah singkat Honda cub

     Dari semua varian motor keluaran Honda, mungkin Honda c series atau sering orang menyebut Honda super cup adalah yang paling populer. Sejarah mencatat sampai tahun 2008 produksi motor dari varian ini telah mencapai angka 60 juta unit. sebuah prestasi yang luar biasa di dunia otomotif.

Perkembangan model

     

      Munculnya Honda super cup diawali dengan c100 yang diluncurkan pada tahun 1958. Basicnya adalah mesin Honda seri F yang berkapasitas 50 cc. Kemudian pada tahun 1960 Honda kembali meluncurkan seri c102 dan c110. Ketiganya mengusung mesin berkapasitas 49 cc ohv. Tahun 1965 c50 diperkenalkan, kapasitas mesin c50 hampir sama dengan para pendahulunya namun sudah mengusung teknologi ohc. C90 yang menggunakan kapasitas mesin lebih besar keluar pada tahun 1966. Sedangkan pada tahun 1969 Honda mengeluarkan c70 yang berkapasitas 71,8 cc.

Honda cub di Indonesia

      

     Honda cub mulai beredar di Indonesia pada tahun 1961 yaitu Honda c50 atau yang dikenal sebagai honda unyil. Mesinnya sendiri berkapasitas 50 cc. Model ini bertahan sampai tahun 1965. Kemudian pada rentang waktu tahun 1966 sampai 1973 Honda mengeluarkan c50, c70 ,c90. Ada beberapa perubahan dibanding kan dengan model sebelumnya, diantaranya posisi headlamp yang berada di stang. Generasi ke tiga Honda cub diproduksi dari tahun 1973 sampai 1980. Desain bodinya mengalami beberapa perubahan dari generasi sebelumnya. Diantaranya bentuk tangki, dan model jok yang dibuat menyatu. Pada awal 80an Honda meluncurkan honda supercub 700 dan 800, yang mengalami perubahan cukup besar dari segi desain bodi. Kemudian disusul dengan munculnya astrea star dan prima. model inilah yang menjadi basic dari Honda bebek generasi selanjutnya.
